At the inception of his career, he was a property and insurance consultant for the Cook County Sheriff’s Office prior to becoming a trial attorney with the Office of the Cook County Public Defender in 1969. Holding the position for seven years, he was promoted to supervising trial attorney in 1976. Shortly thereafter, he served as an associate judge for the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County between 1977 and 1987. He remains an attorney with Everette A. Drawing upon a BS from Northwestern University and a JD from the John Marshall Law School, Mr. Braden was admitted to practice law in Illinois, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the Supreme Court of the United States.
