510 MILLENNIUM M ary Jo Viola’s creative skills have helped her maintain a successful career as an art educator and artist. Dr. Viola has utilized her expertise to teach others her passion at schools across New Jersey and New York City, including Georgian Court College, Hollins College, Marymount College, Baruch College, Brooklyn College, Parsons School of Design, Rutgers University and currently at Bronx Community College, a role in which she has served since 1997. She has served as an editor and creator of educational videos and has had her art exhibited at Tribes Gallery in New York City. Dr. Viola continues to be an active member of her community, serving as a researcher for ethnic festivals since 1993. Her fruitful career is backed by a Bachelor of Arts in fine arts from the College of Mount Saint Vincent, a Master of Arts in history from New York University and a Master of Philosophy and Ph.D. in art history from the City University of New York. Dr. Viola remains a member of the College Art Association, the Association of Historians of American Art, and City Lore. F or 37 years, Richard J. Volentine Jr. has strengthened his skills as an attorney. Currently practicing mortgage banking law, Mr. Volentine provides legal services to lenders and other clients on a variety of issues that deal with real property law. To prepare for his career, he obtained a Bachelor of Science from Spring Hill College in 1977, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Alabama in 1980. After earning his degrees, he went on to pass the Alabama State Bar in 1980, the Missouri State Bar in 1982, and the Georgia State Bar in 2005. Throughout his successful career, he has worked with the Alabama Judicial College, Citicorp Person-to-Person Financial Center, Inc., the HomeFed Corporation, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Altus, Chase Mortgage, Prudential Bank, Fannie Mae and Prommis Solutions, LLC. He remains active in his field as a member of the American Bar Association and the Association of Corporate Counsel, as well as an honorary member of the Alabama Judicial College Faculty Association. Mr. Volentine attributes his success to his parents’ unconditional support of his educational and professional endeavors.
