64 MILLENNIUM B eing a successful journalist takes drive and dedication, as well as passion, a desire to know the truth, and the confidence to go out and get the story, which are all essential skills possessed by Rolf Bromme. Mr. Bromme prepared for his fruitful career by receiving a degree in journalism from the University of Gothenburg. With his newfound credentials, he became an information secretary at IOGT International and later the general editor of Hansa Solutions. His passion helped him to progress and obtain positions as a journalist, press officer and editor- in-chief. Mr. Bromme reached the height of his career when he became the owner of Företagarnas Presstjanst news agency. In addition to his career as a journalist, Mr. Bromme has served his community as a substitute politician for the regional parliament of Stockholm County, a board member for the regional social insurance office, a delegate for the Stockholm region of the National Social Security Authority, and president of the parish council of Fresta. He is also an avid churchgoer and has been a church warden for St. Peter and St. Sigfrid Anglican Episcopal Church. He was a member of the Royal Philharmonic Choir from 1982 to 1999 and has been a member of the Opera Viva choir since 2001. Mr. Bromme has written books on religious topics and contributed to many popular publications. He is affiliated with Christian Publicists of Sweden, for which he served as president from 1985 to 1995, and councils for EURAD and NSO.
