189 A Marquis Who's Who Magazine R ecently named provost faculty fellow by Southern Illinois University, Dr. Todd Headrick holds nearly two decades of professional experience in postsecondary education. For 18 years, Dr. Headrick has dedicated his service to the institution as a professor of quantitative methods. His hard work and commitment have not gone unnoticed, as he also serves as a member of the department of counseling quantitative methods and special education, receiving the Outstanding Scholar Award in 2008. With a passion and interest in statistical computing methodology, mathematical statistics, and Monte Carlo and simulation methods, he has penned a book titled "Statistical Simulation: Power Method Polynomials and Other Transformations" and has also shared his knowledge in articles in professional journals. He also served as chair of the department as an assistant dean of research and statistical analysis. Dr. Headrick’s extensive education is the catalyst for his success. He earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts from Eastern Michigan University in 1984 and 1986, respectively, and a PhD from Wayne State University in 1997. He remains abreast of his field as a SIG Educational Statistician for the American Educational Research Association and a member of the Psychometric Society, the Mathematical Association of America, the American Statistical Association, the International Association for Statistical Computing, and the Institute of Mathematical Statistics. Looking towards the future, he hopes to continue imparting his knowledge to students of Southern Illinois University and contributing articles to professional journals in the field. Dr. Headrick has been featured in several editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Education, Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, and Who’s Who in the World.
