374 MILLENNIUM M ary Ann Stiles has over four decades of professional experience as a lawyer in Florida. With a focus on workers’ compensation, insurance defense and corporate law, Ms. Stiles has made a name for herself in the field. To prepare for her career, she earned an Associate of Arts from Hills Community College in 1973, a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University in 1975, and a Juris Doctor from the Antioch School of Law in 1978 before gaining admittance to the Florida Bar. She began her career in 1973 serving as a legislative analyst for Florida’s House of Representatives for two years before becoming an intern for the U.S. Senate in Washington, D.C. As she continued to excel, she took on many prestigious positions, including general counsel and special counsel of Associated Industries and shareholder, president, chief executive officer and founding partner of Stiles, Taylor & Grace. Currently she serves as partner of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., a position she has held since 2012. Ms. Stiles has had much success as one of the first women to lobby full time for the business community. Additionally, she has served on many boards in her community, including the Judicial Nominating Commission for Workers Compensation Courts, the Boys & Girls Club, and Seminole Boosters Inc. She has shared her knowledge of the field as an author of “Worker’s Compensation Law Handbook.” Ms. Stiles remains a member of the American Bar Association, the Florida Bar Association, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, and Seminole Boosters, for which she previously served as president. She has been featured in many editions of Who’s Who in Finance and Industry, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law, Who’s Who in the South and Southwest, Who’s Who in the World, and Who’s Who of American Women.
