439 A Marquis Who's Who Magazine J eremy Brenes is providing alternative methods of healing for an assortment of illnesses as a homeopath and a researcher. His passion for homeopathic healing developed after his successful homeopathic treatment of his own ailments. After obtaining a BS in mathematics from the University of Oklahoma, he began a career in processing geophysical data for Western Geophysical, a position he held for four years. Upon recovering his health, he was inspired to study homeopathic medicine, and obtained his diploma from the British Institute of Homeopathy. He then founded Homeopathic Village, Inc. in 2003, where he serves as president, treasurer and consultant. This transition from physical science to biological science has aided his research capacity, and has been inspired by a desire to help others achieve wellness. Apart from his clinical and research work, he has written a number of online articles, including the Homeopathic Village Electronic Newsletter, and his book “Homeopathic Repertory of Heavy Elements.” Additionally, he is a Folio Society member, and a lifetime member of the History Channel Club. Dr. Brenes’ desire to use alternative treatment methods is providing new and innovative means of curing. A s Alaska’s deputy state forester since 1990, Dean Brown leads wildland firefighting, aviation, forest resources, and state/federal programs. Since 1978, she has held positions with increasing responsibilities in oil and gas, mining, water management, land management, and agriculture. Dean participated in many of Alaska’s milestones, including oil and gas development, land disposals, the Beirne initiative, navigability determinations, native claims and allotments, the sealift from Prudhoe Bay, closing the Deadhorse Store, the Delta Barley Project, the Point MacKenzie agricultural project, the Miller’s Reach fire, and record fire years in 2004 and 2015. She was commended as Incident Commander for the National Association of State Foresters’ 2006 meeting and received a medal from the U.S. Department of State Foreign Service Institute executive leadership program. She has been on the State Emergency Response Commission since 1996, the AlaskaWildland Fire Coordinating Group since 1994, serving five terms as chair, and has acted for the Department of Natural Resources on the Governor’s Disaster Policy Cabinet. Her career has included varied, challenging and interesting work; she served as a field construction engineer on theTrans-Alaska Pipeline and as an adjunct professor at two universities.
