470 MILLENNIUM F or over five decades Angelo John Kaltsos has delved into the comparative and analytical study of cultures as an ethnology researcher. Before comparing cultures, Mr. Kaltsos began his professional career as a clerk for the U.S. Postal Service in Boston from 1954 to 1957. Soon after he began working as an electronic research technician and an electronic research technician for the Crosley division of Avco Manufacturing Corporation and Raytheon Company respectively, researching on the first flight to the moon. From 1961 to 1981 he utilized the skills and experiences he had gained to become an educator at Cambridge Public Schools. Mr. Kaltsos has penned himself an author of many books and is a contributing journalist in the field. He is the recipient of the Robert Sweeney Award from the Rindge Alumni Association in 1996 and named Teacher of the Year by Rindge Alumni Association in 2008. He has been featured inWho’s Who in Finance and Business, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Education, Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, Who’s Who in the East, andWho’s Who in the World. Additionally, he has served on many educational and environmental executive boards. O ver the course of her 35 year career, Margaret Lampe Kannenstine has made a name for herself as an artist. Ms. Kannenstine has served on the boards of numerous organizations, including the Pentangle Arts Council, the Vermont Studio Center, the Vermont Arts Council, and the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies, for which she has been secretary since 2001. Having earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Washington University in St. Louis and completed postgraduate work through The Art Students League of New York, she was prepared to showcase her talent to the world, exhibiting her work across Vermont, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Virginia. She has also shown her work in one-woman shows at a variety of galleries, earning her many awards, including being a Washington University scholar in 1955, the Distinguished Public Service Award from the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies in 2008, and a citation for achievement in arts from the Vermont Arts Council in 2002. Ms. Kannenstine’s art has been permanently represented in collections in Ohio, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.
