167 A Marquis Who's Who Magazine N eurologists like Dr. Raghav Govindarajan are experts in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders, including neuromuscular disorders and dementia. Dr. Govindarajan is responsible for examining patients and interpreting diagnostic testing to ensure the best care possible. To prepare for his career, he obtained a Doctor of Medicine from Bangalore Medical College in 2007 and then began working as a clinical resident at Cleveland Clinic Florida. He continued researching and learning about the medical field as a fellow at Washington University from 2013 to 2014. Currently, Dr. Govindarajan serves as an assistant professor at the University of Missouri, a position he has held since 2014. With expertise in epilepsy, Alzheimer’s disease, headaches, sleep disorders, tremors, pain and peripheral nerve disorders, he was able to earn a position as a board member of the Florida Society of Neurology, a role in which he has served for the past seven years. Over the course of his 10-year career, Dr. Govindarajan has earned many accolades and awards, including being named Resident of the Year by Cleveland Clinic Florida and receiving the annual Travel Meet Award from the Florida Society of Neurology, the Best Doctor Award from the Arnold P. Gold Foundation, the Muscle Study Group Travel Award, the MGFA Newsom Davis Travel Award, the Best Poster Award from the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and a travel grant from the Florida Society of Neurology in 2013 and 2014. A member of the American Medical Association, the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and the American Academy of Neurology, he has been featured in Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare.
