197 A Marquis Who's Who Magazine A member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the American Association for Attorneys- CPAs, the International Tax Planning Association, the New York State Bar Association and the International Tax Reform, Bobbe Hirsh has aided those in legal service for over four decades. With her extensive professional experience, Ms. Hirsh has been able to maintain positions as partner of Hirsh & Associates, LLC and of counsel at Skarzynski Black, LLC since 2011. Before becoming the prominent lawyer she is today, she honed her skills as a senior accountant at Peat in 1975. Five years later she took on the position of associate at Baker and McKenzie, serving in that capacity for four years before embarking on her journey as a manager of tax planning at Pepsi Co. As she continued to excel, she made headway in her career with by serving as partner at the firms of Lord, Bissell & Brook LLP, K&L Gates LLP, and Lipscomb, Brady & Eisenberg PL. Ms. Hirsh co-authored “The NAFTA Guide” and has contributed articles to professional journals in the field. In addition to her legal career, she serves on the board advisory for the Journal of Taxation of Financial Products, a position she has held since 2003. She has been dedicated to her community, serving as chairman of the board of directors for the Ballet Theater of Chicago in 1997 as well as the Chicago Jaycees from 1976 to 1977. Her hard work has not gone unnoticed, as she received the Silver Medal from the Colorado Society of CPAs and the Elijah Watts Sells Award from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She has also been featured in Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law and Who’s Who of American Women. Ms. Hirsh holds a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University, a Master of Science in business administration from Denver University, and a Juris Doctor from Harvard University.
