324 MILLENNIUM J udith A. Rogala has been lending her consulting expertise to companies as a successful executive for over five decades. At the tender age of 8, she wanted to begin a paper route but felt that she wouldn’t be hired because she was a girl. Instead, she utilized her negotiating skills in conversations with the neighborhood boys and agreed to have girls deliver the newspapers. Before embarking on her fruitful career, she received a Bachelor of Science from Roosevelt University in 1976 and a Master of Business Administration from the University of New Mexico in 1982. Since then, she has developed her expertise to help businesses and companies through trying times and ultimately opened her own consulting firm, The Catapult Factor. Ms. Rogala’s career began with her spending a great deal of time traveling the world as a flight attendant with Trans World Airlines from 1962 to 1980. Never losing her passion for leadership, she has held executive positions with FedEx, Flagship Express, Inc., The Environmental Quality Company, Office Depot, Inc., Aramark Uniform Services, and La Petite Academy, Inc. She was also a pioneering woman at several companies, including FedEx, where her role entailed providing central support services and being responsible for 23,000 employees. During her successful career, she has done public speaking regarding leadership and the development of self. Additionally, she has designed nine homes, renovating them from scratch, and built her first solar home in 1976.
