375 A Marquis Who's Who Magazine T errence L. Stinnett has over four decades of professional experience in the legal field. Mr. Stinnett began his career as a law clerk to the Hon. Thomas Caldecott of the California Court of Appeals from 1969 to 1970 and was an associate of Hyman, Rhodes & Alyward from 1970 to 1971. He joined Glicksberg, Kushner & Goldberg in 1972, which ultimately became Goldberg, Stinnett, Meyers & Davis, specializing in bankruptcy and reorganization law for 34 years. For many years he has been president of the board of directors of Project Second Chance, Inc., which is the fundraising arm of the Contra Costa County Library adult literacy program. Since 2007, Mr. Stinnett has utilized his leadership skills as vice president, general counsel and secretary for Fremont Bank and the Fremont Bancorporation, and since 1990 he has served on the board of directors of both corporations. He was vice chairman of the board from 1998 to 2000. He serves as chairman of the board loan committee and the board fair lending committee, as well as a member of the board compliance committee, the board research and technology committee, and the officers’ loan committee. He also served on the Santa Clara University School of Law board of visitors from 1995 until 2017 and is now a member of the newly formed advisory board. Mr. Stinnett received a Bachelor of Science from Stanford University in 1962 and a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Santa Clara University in 1969, graduating first in his class. He was an associate editor of the Law Review and author of Standards to Guaranty Assistance of Counsel, 8 Santa Clara Lawyer 108. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the California State Bar Association and the Bar Association of San Francisco. He was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court in 1975. He has been featured in Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law, and America’s Registry of Outstanding Professionals, among other honors. Terrance L.
