As she progressed through high school and college, she became fluent in English and also studied French. Subsequently, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in international relations from the Florida International University Honors College in 2007, through which she earned the Eduardo Padron Grant, which provided her with a full scholarship to complete her collegiate studies. Shortly thereafter, Ms. Pries commenced her career as an operations assistant with Kawa Capital Management from 2008 to 2010 and as a client account assistant with Itau Private Bank from 2010 to 2012. Working with Sunshine Doors Specialists since that time – a company that was founded by her father more than 20 years ago – Ms. Pries has excelled as the president of the company since 2019. In her position, she is responsible for the growth and expansion, financial planning, risk management, marketing and business development of the company. Furthermore, she manages all business aspects, such as vender and supplier relations, branding and client satisfaction. She has been renowned in the industry for innovating the flow of system operations. Although assuming the role of president in 2019, Ms. Pries has maintained involvement with Sunshine Doors Specialists since her teenage years, having answered phone calls and helped her father with various administrative tasks. She subsequently maintained the company’s QuickBooks to transfer all paper files to digital formats. Attributing her success to her diligent work ethic, determination and value system, Ms. Pries enjoys preserving her father’s legacy through her leadership at Sunshine Doors Specialists and, to the present day, has worked hard to make the company succeed in what is a busy market. Married to her husband Allen Pries, a forensic accountant andmerger and acquisitions advisor, Ms. Pries has four children whom she homeschools full time while maintaining her professional career.
