Alongside her primary endeavors, Ms. McIntyre has also been a corporate secretary for the Wine Country Opera, Inc., since 1994, as well as a jazz vocalist volunteering for the group Bread and Roses. Enjoying her secondary musical career, she also performed with the Wine Country Opera Christmas Quartet. Attributing her success to her love and passion for her work, Ms. McIntyre has especially enjoyed working for the Mendocino, Sonoma and Napa Counties in California. Through these experiences, she was afforded opportunities to help a plethora of clients. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to jazz and doing art. After serving as a secretary for a local attorney in family law for one year, Margaret W. McIntyre, LMFT, was inspired to enter the field of psychology, after also having positive experiences with her own therapist. In 1992, she earned a Bachelor of Science in organizational behavior from the University of San Francisco. Continuing with the academic institution, she then received a Master of Arts in counseling psychology in 1994. She then excelled with the Child Protective Services’ Emergency Response Team in Mendocino County, California, between 1997 and 2000. During this time, she became a licensed marriage and family therapist by the Board of Behavioral Services of California in 1998. Shortly thereafter, Ms. McIntyre served as a clinical care manager for Managed Health Network, Health Net, in San Rafael, California, from 2000 to 2005. Subsequently, she flourished as a licensed marriage and family therapist for Sonoma County Behavioral Health from 2006 to 2016.
