Wilson IV enjoyed mixing chemicals in the laboratory, as well as disassembling and reassembling electronics. In 1986, he received an Associate of Arts in CAD engineering from the University of California San Diego and began his career in CAD engineering and its applications. Working as a precision electromechanical inspector for 13 fruitful years, he has excelled as a CAD engineering consultant for Vision Engineering Services since 2018. In his career, Mr. Wilson has spent his time creating real-time 3D CAD a reality, in which he has revolutionized the field across the globe. During his tenure, he created designs for the brand Nike and, most notably, worked on the Challenger Space Shuttle Project. Additionally, he created mainframe designs for large computer systems for Hewlett Packard and the CAD systems of their files, which required redesign. Furthermore, Mr. Wilson conducted reverse engineering on motor systems and dashboards and, subsequently, redesigned the products to put them in motion. Maintaining affiliation with the American Society of Quality Control, Mr. Wilson attributes his success to the support and encouragement of his parents. His mother was the first woman to attend Pennsylvania State University, and his father was a talented coder. Although his career has been filled with highlights, he is especially proud of contributing to real-time 3D CAD motion, which was previously unavailable until he and his team worked on the algorithms. To attest to his success, his work has been recognized in Times Square on various billboards and in The New York Times. Looking toward the future, Mr. Wilson intends to expand Vision Engineering Services exponentially to where his company will be acclaimed on an international scale. Married to his wife Marina for many years, he has three children – Kira, Lara and Tami – and four grandchildren.
