At the inception of his career in 2000, he served as a CRM systems administrator for Exult the Woodlands before becoming a CRM technical team lead for TXU Corp. Subsequently working for NASA/Indyne, Inc., as a DBA manager, he then joined Home Depot as a team lead and CRM systems engineer, followed by a brief tenure as lead systems architect for Texas Instruments. For the following seven years, Mr. Murphy excelled as a principal architect and TACT manager for Oracle Corporation. Subsequently, he served as a senior architect program manager for Baxter Healthcare and senior enterprise architect manager for General Motors. Since 2018, he has flourished as a senior enterprise architect for Hitachi Vantara. Drawing upon a BS in computer science from Trinity University, BS in business management from the University of Phoenix and MBA from Texas A&M University, Mr. Murphy received the 2020 Leadership Award from Hitachi Vantara, and was named Architect of the Year by Oracle and Database Manager of the Year by NASA.
