LORIE JOHNSON Well known for his passion for and expertise in capturing and releasing animals back into the wild, Kenne Helm initially joined the field while serving as a rescuer for an animal orphanage in Colorado. Many years following this pursuit, he became acquaintedwith “Ray the Trapper,” a renowned animal trapper who inspired Mr. Helm to enter the industry on a full-time basis. Since 2020, he has excelled as the owner of Trapper Helm Nuisance Wildlife Removal in Naples, Florida, through which he humanely removes wild animals from Floridian residential and commercial properties. Additionally, he offers monthly trapping programs, property inspectors and carcass removal. Notably, the business was named a state python contractor in 2021. A member of the Florida Trappers Association, Inc., and advanced technician with the National Wildlife Control Operators Association, Mr. Helm previously served many years in the securities and military industries. He earned the Two-Star General’s Coin from the U.S. Army, as well as challenge coins from Senator Marsha Blackburn from the U.S. Secret Service. Mr. Helm has completed 35,000 hours of training in advanced hand-to-hand combat, weapons, driving, executive protection and wildlife management.
