Notably, UltraRed is a health and wellness consulting company, utilizing the LightMD Photobiomodulation (PBM) system to help clients by reducing pain and inflammation. The technology uses red and near infrared pulsed LED light to expedite tissue repair, angiogenesis, neurogenesis and phagocytosis. Mrs. McKeever provides her non-invasive light therapy to humans and animals, as well as educating, training, and supporting health care professionals with LightMD’s PBM technology. UltraRed holds an A+ rating through the Better Business Bureau and was honored with West Hollywood’s Best of 2018-2022 and Best in Home Healthcare for five consecutive years. Further, Mrs. McKeever was recognized in Entrepreneur Magazine among its Entrepreneurs of 2021 list and the International Forum of Advancements in Healthcare’s Top 100 Healthcare Leaders list for 2020-2021. She also received the Marquis Who’s Who Distinguished Humanitarian Award in 2021 and the Health 2.0 Outstanding Leadership Award for 2021-2022. Mrs. McKeever is on a mission to share her healing light with the world. Melanie Mears desired to work in health care from a formative age. Volunteering in hospitals when she was 11 years old, she subsequently broke her arm at the age of 12 and saw an x-ray technologist. Ms. Mears was enamored by the technology and, from thereon, she decided to pursue radiology as a career path. She received an x-ray technologist certification in 2000, followed by a certification in nuclear medicine in 2001. In 2020, Ms. Mears received a certification in CT scans. Since that time, she has excelled as a CT technologist at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Lehighton, Pennsylvania. Earlier in her career, Ms. Mears worked for Easton Hospital and Mobilex USA. To remain abreast of developments in the health care industry, she has maintained active affiliation with the American Society of Radiologic Technologists. She attributes her success to the support and encouragement of her parents, who always believed in her skills and passion to move forward. Looking toward the future, Ms. Mears intends to continue her studies in health care and receive additional certifications in PET scan technology. MELANIE MEARS
