309 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine TECHNOLOGY Since 1995, Kevin West Flanagan has built a prosperous career in technological project management. In 2022, he joined CRG as a data analytics project manager and SCRUMmaster, roles in which he oversees three teams, manages numerous software projects, and runs SCRUM programs for the company. In addition, Mr. Flanagan is also the owner of The DevSmart Group, a company he founded in 2019. Prior to his current appointments, he began his career working as an adjunct professor at Johnson County Community College, and he subsequently held a variety of positions within his field. Before embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Flanagan pursued a formal education, beginning at Rhode Island College, where he earned a BS in industrial technology in 1981. He subsequently continued his studies at Oral Roberts University, where he received an MDiv in theology and counseling in 1988. Having already begun his professional career, he later continued his studies at Grand Canyon University, where he achieved an MBA in leadership in 2010 and where he is currently pursuing a DBA in data analytics. In addition to his academic credentials, Mr. Flanagan holds a number of certifications, and he was previously affiliated with several industryrelated organizations, including the Mid-America chapter of the Project Management Institute and the American Society for Quality. Adjacent to his vocational duties, he is also well regarded for his dedication to civic advocacy, having participated with the Boy Scouts of America from 1991 to 1997 and the Lenexa Chamber of Commerce from 1990 to 1992. To commemorate his accomplishments in the field, Mr. Flanagan has been recognized with several awards, including an Entrepreneurial Achievement Award from the Kauffman Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership in 2002. He attributes much of his success to his parents, who taught him many valuable life lessons throughout his life.
