In accounting for her achievements, Ms. Hamn attributes much of her success to the extraordinary team and department that she oversees. She is especially proud to have trained and mentored many members of her ever-evolving staff. With over 25 years of professional experience to her credit, Carrie Hamn is a proven expert in the field of talent acquisition. Since 2019, she has served as the Director of Talent Acquisition at DCS Corporation. She originally joined the professional services company in 2013 as a Senior Technical Recruiter, and in 2017, she took on the role of Recruiting Manager. Prior to joining DCS, Ms. Hamn operated as the Director of Talent Acquisition at Halfaker and Associates LLC (now part of SAIC) from 2010 to 2013. She initially began her career in 1996 while she was still in high school, working as a Human Resources Intern for the United States Bureau of Land Management. As part of her vocational journey, Ms. Hamn earned her Human Resources Management certification at George Mason University. In addition, she holds several industry-related certifications. She is a CertifiedDiversity Recruiter (CDR), a Certified Inclusion Recruiter (CIR) and a Certified Professional Recruiter (PRC).
