Drawing upon more than 20 years of expertise in accounting and tax preparation, Mr. Colindres previously served as the co-founder and chief financial officer of the Guatemalan Unity Information Agency (GUIA), a nonprofit organization that has helped the Guatemalan community remain abreast of emerging government policies that affect immigrants. Mrs. Lawson started with CBRE as an HSE Senior Manager, where she was responsible for the development, implementation and management of corporate health and safety initiatives for a client organizationwith operations throughout the United States and Canada. Today, as the HSE Director of the Healthcare Sector, she strategizes and collaboratively leads to align corporate goals with sector-specific, best management practices and programs. Prior to employment with CBRE, Mrs. Lawson has worked for leading insurance carriers as a senior risk management consultant, including Chubb, The Hartford and Amerisure Mutual Insurance Company. Supported by a Bachelor of Business Administration in risk management and insurance from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University and multiple industry certifications, Mrs. Lawson was inspired to enter her field by a college professor who also worked as an independent loss control consultant.
