250 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine HEALTH AND WELLNESS Since 2012, Dr. Jorge R. Gilete-Sosa has excelled as the medical director for Corizon Health, in which he maintains responsibility for the care of underserved individuals in corrections facilities. Working for the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, now named under Corizon Health, he primarily serves the Brevard County Jail Complex under Armor Correctional Health Services, Inc. Earlier in his career, Dr. Gilete-Sosa served as medical director for the Florida Department of Health of Bradford and Union Counties and a staff physician for the Florida Department of Corrections. Likewise, he was a general physician in the emergency department at San Pablo HospitalBayamon and palliative care physician at Saint Lucas Hospital Services, Inc., in Puerto Rico. Dr. Gilete-Sosa received an MD from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in 2000, is a certified correctional health professional, and holds medical licenses in Florida and Puerto Rico. To attest to his success, he received an Outstanding Performance Recognition Award as a health promotor for underprivileged communities by his alma mater in 1997. He has maintained membership with Correctional Healthcare Practitioners and the American Academy of HIV Specialists. Millennium Magazine Featured Listee MEDICAL DIRECTOR Corizon Health Melbourne, FL Beginning her career in food chemistry, Rosita D. Griffith served as a food chemist for A.E. Staley Refinery and an associate food scientist for Pepsi Cola, where she served in product development. Deciding to enter academia, she was a reading assistant and data entry administrative support personnel for Simpson County Schools and a teacher of advanced mathematics and chemistry at Piney Woods School. After a diagnosis of breast cancer in 2016, she recovered and decided to embark on a new career path in health care. Since 2018, she has served Boswell Regional Center, first as a direct care advanced worker and direct care supervisor, and since 2022, a support care professional supervisor. Supported by a BS in chemistry and mathematics from Tougaloo College, Ms. Griffithwas accepted to the chemical engineering programat Washington University at St. Louis. Upon receiving a fellowship, however, she completed an MS in food technology from Iowa State University, where her master’s work was published in the American Dairy Science Association Journal and a patent disclosure was filed. She also holds an MBA from American Intercontinental University. She has three poems published in anthologies via the International Society of Poets.
