112 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine EDUCATION Drawing upon a BS, with honors, from Savannah State University, an MEd in business education from Armstrong State University and an EdS in marketing education from Georgia State University, Mitchell Inman II has accrued nearly 50 years of experience in the fields of marketing and education. Since 2014, he has excelled as a business advisor at Infinite Health Care Academy, having previously served as a member of the board of directors of Ware, Inc., and a purchasing agent for the Amoco Corporation from 1973 to 1974. Between 1974 and 2011, Mr. Inman served Savannah Technical College as a marketing instructor and director of public information. During this time, he also served as chair of the Southeastern Georgia Marketing Teacher’s Consortium and the Georgia Marketing Teacher’s Consortium, as well as president of the Savannah Technical College Faculty Council. Decorated with numerous accolades, Mr. Inman earned the 1979 and 2007 Georgia Occupational Leadership Awards from Savannah Technical College, who also named him Teacher of the Year in 1983. In 1985 and 1986, he received American Advertising Awards from the Advertising Club of Savannah. A U.S. Navy Reserve veteran, he received a Meritorious Service Medal in 1990. Earlier in her career, she served as a teacher of English as a second language in her native country of Guyana, as well as a lecturer in language, literature and methodology at the Cyril Potter College of Education and an assistant examiner in English at the Caribbean Examinations Council in Barbados, West Indies. Post-retirement, Ms. McKenzie has continued to provide her expertise to her community as a part-time Early Intervention Specialist. To prepare for her career, Ms. McKenzie received a bachelor’s degree in English, with a minor in history, and a postgraduate diploma in education in Guyana. Following her relocation to the United States, she received an MEd in special education from Long Island University and an MS in English as a second language from the College of New Rochelle. In recognition of her civic contributions, Ms. McKenzie was honored with a certificate for professionalism and dedicated service from her church, Allen Memorial A.M.E., in 2000.
