She also worked for the county weekly newspaper, having her own local news column. Moreover, she has lent her time as a volunteer for her local church, the American Red Cross as a first aid and CPR instructor, and the American Cancer Society. Among her myriad of career achievements, she is especially proud is assisting the Robert W. Dail Memorial Treatment Center in the early stages of its operations and attaining a pharmacy technician license. She is equally gratified by working with all her patients and improving their lives. Looking toward the future, Ms. Lawson, at 84 years of age, intends to still be active within the heath care sector at the Treatment Center. Ultimately, she would like to leave a lasting legacy for her family. Since 2005, Anita Licata Lawson has excelled as a staff nurse at the Robert W. Dail Memorial Treatment Center. In her prominent position, she is responsible for administering methadone treatments to patients to treat opioid addiction. A licensed practical nurse (LPN) through the Paterson Vocational School since 1961, she previously served in a myriad of medical-related roles, including as a medical team administrator for Southern Health Partners in 2013. Earlier in her career, Ms. Lawson was a jail nurse and medical team administrator for Oglethorpe County Jail and a nurse at the BJC Medical Center, holding each role for five years. Prior to entering the field of health care, Ms. Lawson was a loss prevention manager at JC Penney for 21 years, as well as the owner and operator of The Tasty Dog from 1971 to 1987. Drawing upon an associate degree in criminal justice from Gainesville State College, which she received in 1981, Ms. Lawson also completed a certification in crisis intervention. She has further graduated from Northeast Georgia Police Academy and was POST certified. Ms. Lawson formerly served as a justice of the ANITA LICATA LAWSON, LPN STAFF NURSE Robert W.
