252 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine HEALTH AND WELLNESS Since completing her medical training in 2017, Dr. Sabrina Islamhas excelled as a cardiologist and Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Section of Cardiology at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. Previously earning a BS in Biology and Psychology and graduating magna cum laude from Brooklyn College in 2006, an MD from the SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in 2010 and an MPH from Johns Hopkins University in 2013, Dr. Islam completed a residency in internal medicine and fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the Drexel University College of Medicine. Dr. Islam serves as Temple University Hospital’s Echocardiography Laboratory Director of Quality Improvement and Assurance and is an Interventional Echocardiographer in their Structural Heart Disease Program. Since 2018, she has been involved at the local and national levels with the American College of Cardiology. She has authored peer-reviewed manuscripts and a book chapter in the American Society of Echocardiography’s “Comprehensive Echocardiography Textbook.” She earned a 2019 Rising Star Award from the Temple University Women in Medicine Committee. She is proud of being able to help ease the burden of heart disease in underserved communities. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF MEDICINE Temple University Hospital Philadelphia, PA Early in his career, Paul E. Johnson Jr. served in the field of government and became a councilman in Phoenix, Arizona. Shortly thereafter, he excelled as the youngest major of Phoenix at the age of 30 between 1990 and 1994. During his political career, Mr. Johnson became aware of health care disparities that existed across the nation. Seeking to make a difference and bridge the gap, he co-founded Redirect Health, alongside Dr. David Berg and Dr. Janice Johnston, in 2012. In this capacity, Mr. Johnson and his team develop affordable health care solutions that eliminate unnecessary costs that often aggravate the health care process. Notably, his primary care base is medically licensed and insured in all 50 U.S. states. To attest to his success, Mr. Johnson was named among Top 16 People Most Likely to Watch in Arizona in 2016 and, during his tenure as mayor, he was profiled in The New York Times, Forbes and People. Mr. Johnson completed a senior executive program at Harvard Kennedy School, received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and completed history coursework at Arizona State University.
