Law was inspired by his upbringing, having been influenced by his father, who was a successful manufacturer. His father ascended the ladder of success, coming from humble beginnings and escalating to the rank of a laudable figurehead in his profession. As a result of his father’s influence, Dr. Law – alongside his brothers – were driven to succeed in the same fashion. In 1973, Dr. Law earned an MD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. As the eldest son out of three other siblings, Dr. Law became a preeminent general, thoracic and vascular surgeon in Denver and paved a path for his younger siblings to pursue the field of medicine. As such, his brothers became a cardiologist, a plastic surgeon and an orthopedic surgeon. Throughout his life and career, Dr. Law has heeded the idea that success is not about making money. Rather, success can be defined as doing something that has contributed significantly to humankind.
