Beginning his career with the Walt Disney Company in 1994, he ascended the ranks of success from a performer to a stage manager, a choreographer and a production manager until 2012. Shortly thereafter, he served in a myriad of leadership roles, including as a resource manager of production for two years, a producer for the Disney World Parks and Cruise Line and the proprietor of entertainment operations for three years. He departed from the Walt Disney Company in 2018. Mr. Baker-Hargrove joined 26Health full-time in 2018, where he excelled as the co-founder, co-chief executive officer and chief operations officer until 2022. He now serves as a business and health care consultant. Partnered with his spouse, Dr. David Baker-Hargrove, 26Health was initially founded in 2011 as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Through his work with the affiliated health care center, Mr. Baker-Hargrove has always sought to represent the LGBTQ+ community in Orlando – a community that he and his spouse have been a part of for much of their lives. Notably, Mr. Baker-Hargrove seeks to impact his local community on a positive scale, in which he has sought growth and opportunities through nonprofit management. To this end, he was responsible for reinforcing 26Health’s mission of delivering premier health care services in an inclusive, equitable environment for all. Focusing its efforts on mental and primary health care services, 26Health further offers drug discount programs and adoption and aesthetic services. They purchased a 52,000-square-foot building and an additional 3,200-square-foot building in downtown Orlando and have expanded their telehealth services to 45 U.S. states and Puerto Rico. Mr. Baker-Hargrove emphasizes that the title of 26Health was derived from the 26 letters of the alphabet, representing all patients regardless of how they identify.
