Mr. Fraser notes that, since the legalization of cannabis in the State of Washington more than 10 years ago, not one African American individual has been granted a license to operate a medicinal or recreational cannabis dispensary in Seattle. Prior to establishing SLC & NHC Ministries, Mr. Fraser had success as an actor and musician beginning in the late 1980s. He has acted alongside Nicolas Cage and Laura Dern in David Lynch’s “Wild at Heart”; J.T. Walsh and Dwight Yoakam in “The Little Death”; Jeffrey Dean Morgan in comedy/gore cult classic “Dead & Breakfast”; and acclaimed television shows, “The Tracey Ullman Show,” “Dark Skies,” “The Outer Limits” and “Fame L.A.” As singer/songwriter, Mr. Fraser worked with legendary producer Jack Douglas and producer Andrew Slater. He has written songs recorded with world-renowned American artists, including Warren Zevon, Don Henley’s band and Wallflowers drummer Peter Yanowitz, guitar legend Derek Frigo, and Italian musician Elisa Toffoli.
