Earlier in his career, Dr. Han was employed by Ewha Womans University in a myriad of capacities, including as a researcher and lecturer from 2004 to 2005 and as a research professor in the Department of Information Electronics from 2005 to 2006. Likewise, Dr. Han served as a lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Dankook University from 2002 to 2004 and was a researcher and research professor at the Sejong-Lockheed Martin Aerospace Research Center at Sejong University between 2002 and 2003. To prepare for his career, Dr. Han pursued a formal education at Seoul National University, from which he received two bachelor’s degrees in 1992 and 1995, a master’s degree in electrical engineering in 1998 and a PhD in computer vision and robotics in 2002. Throughout his education and career, Dr. Han has conducted a plethora of research in computer vision applications and developed algorithms and software for both mobile and robot-embedded systems. Additionally, he possesses research experience in human-computer visual interactions. To remain abreast of developments in the engineering industry, Dr. Han has been amember of the World Academy of Letters, the Institute of Electronics and Information Engineers, the Korea Information Science Society, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). To this end, Dr. Han has further authored or coauthored a number of articles and papers for such professional journals as the IEEE Systems Journal, the International Journal of Systems Science, and the Journal of the Korea AcademiaIndustrial Cooperation Society. Furthermore, Dr. Han has served as vice chancellor of the World Academy of Letters, deputy governor of the American Biographical Institute, honorary director general of the International Biographical Centre, and vice president of the World Congress of Arts-Science-Communication. Since 2017, Dr. Youngmo Han has excelled as a professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at Hanyang Cyber University in Seoul, South Korea.
