He grew up in a very competitive family of all boys in Port Huron, Michigan, and earned a scholarship playing basketball at Michigan State University in the early 1990s. After graduating, he continued his basketball career playing professionally overseas in the European Basketball League from 1993 to 1996. During this time, he began preparing for his Series 7 examination, setting his goal to become a Financial Advisor. In 1997, Mr. Zulauf moved back to the United States and began his career working for Merrill Lynch in Chicago. In 2005, backed by his wealth of experience, he joined LPL Financial and, in 2006, became a Registered Principal. His exceptional performance on behalf of his clients has garnered him numerous awards. Mr. Zulauf maintains his Series 7, 24, 63, 65, Health and Life Insurance licenses with LPL Financial. His career has been highlighted by many honors, but he measures his success solely from exceeding the financial goals of his clients and the lasting relationships he cultivates with them.
