Mobley has excelled as the president of the Village of Thiensville, Wisconsin, since 2012. Elected to four successive terms, under his leadership the village has been ranked among the best places to live across the nation and, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, never declared a state of emergency. Alongside this tenure, Dr. Mobley has served as a professor of history and economics at Concordia University Wisconsin since 2001. Drawing upon a BA in economics from Vanderbilt University and a PhD in history from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Dr. Mobley spends his spare time as a columnist for Ozaukee News Graphic. He has also written numerous op-eds for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and Wispolitics, as well as appeared on such news outlets as BBC, NPR, CNN and MSNBC. Earlier in his career, Dr. Mobley co-founded DOMO Capital Management LLC, serving as managing partner between 2008 and 2012.
