While studying toward a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez, he served as a process engineer intern for Eli Lilly & Company and a technical service technician for Johnson & Johnson. After his receipt of his bachelor’s degree, he served as a process development investigator for BristolMyers Squibb. Following these accomplishments, Mr. Carrion also served as a manufacturing manager for Procter & Gamble, plant manager for Colgate Palmolive, general manager for Millipore Corporation and vice president of operations for Carrington Laboratories. Subsequently, Mr. Carrion excelled as a project delivery manager for CSA Group, Architects and Engineers, as well as the executive director for the Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority. The recipient of a master’s degree in business administration from Universidad Ana G. Mendez, Mr. Carrion has maintained membership with several organizations. He is a former president of the Caguas chapter of Colegio de Ingenieros y Agrimensores de PR and member of the Water Environmental Federation and Puerto Rico Water and Environment Association. For his success, Mr. Carrion was honored with the You Can Make a Difference Award from Colgate Palmolive in 1998 for his contributions to the construction of a new manufacturing plant. He is a former U.S. Air Force officer. William Carrion is a tenured pharmaceutical executive who has excelled as the president of CCG Consulting Group in Puerto Rico since 2012.
