Lewis has excelled in several roles since the 1970s. Since 1976, he has served as the chief executive officer of the Cal-Pacific Investment Company, having also been the past president of The Mortgage Network between 1996 and 2006 and the president of Sugar Creek Ranch Fly Fishing Club since 2016. A former commercial banker, he also thrived as a sales manager for Xerox Corporation in San Francisco and Portland, as well as a manager of various oil and gas investments.
