Remaining in that role for three years, he subsequently served the North Carolina State University (NCSU) College of Veterinary Medicine as equine diagnostic laboratory director and director of pharmacology, roles he held until 2011. Subsequently, Mr. LaFevers served as a pre-sales engineer for Aircom International in Dallas. Joining bioMérieux in 2012 as the mid-Atlantic U.S. account manager – a position he held for three years – he was promoted to owner and national business development manager in 2016, appointments he maintains today. Mr. LaFevers received a BS in food science and poultry science, with a minor in microbiology, from NCSU in 1996. Although he has witnessed many career highlights, he is especially proud of his ability to foresee a concept, expand upon that concept through research and development, and see it through to delivery. Looking forward, he intends to stay within the field of food safety diagnostics, as he recognizes the impact it has on overall human health. Commencing her career in 2007, Mary Maciejewski first served as a team lead and senior clinical research associate for the Essential Group until 2008. Following this tenure, she excelled as a regional clinical research associate for PharmaNet/i3 Strategic Resourcing between 2009 and 2012, as well as a senior clinical research associate for PAREXEL between 2015 and 2016. Subsequently, she was a senior clinical research associate III and site manager for IQVIA for the following two years prior to attaining her current role. Since 2019, she has thrived as a senior clinical research associate III and site manager for ICON Central Laboratories. Prior to establishing her career in research, Ms. Maciejewski obtained several advanced degrees. She holds an AS in radiologic technology, BS in general studies with an emphasis on science, and an MPA from Indiana University at South Bend. She also holds an additional associate degree from Ball State University. For her success, she received an Applause Award for Mentoring Norovirus Studies in 2018 and was named in Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges in 1999. Likewise, she is a member of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. MARY MACIEJEWSKI
