Likewise, she spent significant time in the retail banking and consulting industries, where she gained valuable experience in public speaking across the world. She holds an associate degree in retail merchandising fromPennsylvania State University, a BS in fashion design from Drexel University, and an MBA in finance from the Johnson School of Management at Cornell University. As a testament to her success, Ms. LatskoLockhart was recognized by Forbes’ 50 Over 50 Inaugural Impact List in 2021. Additionally, GGBC was featured on the cover of the Microsoft Annual Citizen Report and was honored by former First Lady Michelle Obama at the 2016 World Bank Summit. Looking toward the future, in collaboration with her partners, she is focused on scaling up GGBC across East Africa, with a goal to reach over 20,000 young women and girls. Linda Latsko-Lockhart established Global Give Back Circle (GGBC) in 2006, where she has since served as the founder and chief executive officer. With headquarters in New York City, GGBC is recognized worldwide for empowering at-risk adolescent girls and working toward gender equity across the globe. GGBC propels its mission forward through collaboration with volunteer mentors and partners from both private and public sectors, including USAID, Mastercard Foundation, Microsoft and SAP. Since its inception, GGBC has become the largest gender-based, mentorship, education and employment readiness program in Kenya with over 4,000 beneficiaries. After establishing the program in Kenya, Ms. Latsko-Lockhart expanded to such countries as Rwanda, South Africa and India, through which she then reached over 5,000 beneficiaries and raised over $20 million in funding for GGBC. To the present day, there are more than 3,000 women mentors in the program who provide their time and expertise to ensure that at-risk girls and young women have opportunities to attend college, emerge from the cycle of poverty and become civically involved in their communities.
