66 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine BUSINESS SERVICES, CONSULTING AND HUMAN RESOURCES Inherently driven to pursue a career in international trade and business, Sonya Kosta Di Nova first earned a graduate degree at Vanra Economic University in her native Eastern Europe. After immigrating to the United States, she attended Southern Illinois University on a Fulbright scholarship and, subsequently, earned a master’s degree in international business from the University of South Carolina in 1998. Following her receipt of her master’s degree, Ms. Kosta Di Nova served several multinational companies, subsidiaries and government agencies. Currently, she thrives as the owner, president and chief executive officer of Transcon Trading Company, Inc., where she was also appointed board chair. Likewise, Ms. Kosta Di Nova served the University of South Carolina for 14 years as an adjunct professor in the undergraduate international business program. Outside of her primary roles, she was an invited speaker at the Global Pet Forum in China and has been amember of such organizations as the South Carolina World’s Affairs Council and National Small Business Association and its Small Business Exporters Association, among others. She recently earned the South Carolina Women in Business Award from the Greenville Business Magazine in 2021. PRESIDENT, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER Transcon Trading Company, Inc. Chapin, SC Drawing upon over 20 years of expertise with Charles Schwab, Dewayne R. Shelton began with the company as a data center senior manager in 2000. Remaining in that role until 2008, he has since excelled as a project manager in their change management department. Earlier in his career, he served AlliedSignal as a data center supervisor. Equipped with several certifications, Mr. Shelton holds an Advanced Lean Sigma Master Black Belt and a Master Black Belt and is a certified Project Management Professional through the Project Management Institute and the University of Phoenix. Additionally, Mr. Shelton received a bachelor’s degree in management from the University of Phoenix and a master’s degree in applied business analytics from Grand Canyon University. Outside of his primary endeavors, Mr. Shelton is a former youth basketball coach for the YMCA and a volunteer for the Botanical Gardens in Arizona. He also served as an applied kinesiology practitioner for Touch For Health. Looking toward the future, he intends to establish his own consulting company in information technology, as well as take the helm of his own Touch For Health applied kinesiology clinic.
