Since 2016, he has excelled as a principal hydroelectric power utility engineer for the California Department of Water Resources, where he maintains responsibility for electrical engineering services for the State Water Project, as well as supervises 50 employees. Earlier, he served the Department as supervising hydroelectric power utility engineer, senior corrosion engineer and associate corrosion engineer. Additionally, he spent 10 years with Caltrans in a myriad of roles. In a career filled with achievements, Mr. Kennelly is proud of serving as project manager for the Thermalito Pump-Generating Plant Restoration, as well as manager of the Table Mountain 230kV Powerline Realignment – a project that came to fruition following the 2017 Oroville Dam Spillway incident. Notably, he and his team completed the project in only eight months. Outside of his profession, Mr. Kennelly is a fourthdegree black belt in karate and fifth-degree in weaponry. PRINCIPAL HYDROELECTRIC POWER UTILITY ENGINEER California Department of Water Resources Sacramento, CA Dr. Mohiuddin Ali Khan is an accomplished engineer, entrepreneur, educator, researcher and writer. Since 2011, he has excelled as the principal of Dr. Ali Khan & Associate Consulting Engineers, whose establishment stemmed from his aspiration to provide fellow engineers with knowledge and expertise. Drawing upon an early interest in science and technology, Dr. Khan received a BE from NED University of Engineering & Technology in Pakistan, followed by an MPhil in structural mechanics from the University of London, a postgraduate diploma from Imperial College London and a PhD from the University of Southampton. Dr. Khan relocated to the U.S. following his doctorate degree, where he first worked on building nuclear power plants. Subsequently, he served as a researcher at Northwestern University, head of the engineering faculty and acting chair of the civil engineering department at NED University of Engineering & Technology, and adjunct faculty at Temple University. The recipient of myriad accolades, he was a guest at the President’s Dinner at the Washington Convention Center in 2006 and an invited attendee of the Inaugural Reception and Dinner of World Peace and Prosperity Foundation in 2007.
