136 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ENERGY, ENGINEERING AND MANUFACTURING Eric Waggoner joined Freese and Nichols, Inc., in 2016, shortly following his receipt of his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Oklahoma State University. First serving as a civil engineer intern, he was subsequently promoted to a full-time position as a civil engineer in 2017, where he remains today. In his role, he manages projects in roadway and traffic infrastructure. Earlier in his career, during his undergraduate studies, he served as a technician intern for Garver in 2015. Outside of his primary vocation, Mr. Waggoner has excelled as the secretary and planning coordinator with the Oklahoma Society of Professional Engineers since 2019. He also maintains affiliation with the National Society of Professional Engineers and American Society of Civil Engineers. Civically involved, he also donates his time and expertise to several community and charitable endeavors, including the Salvation Army, Engineers Without Borders and the United Way. As a testament to his success, he was nominated for the Young Engineer of the Year Award by the Oklahoma Society of Professional Engineers in 2020. Looking toward the future, Mr. Waggoner intends to experience the continued growth and success of his blossoming career. CIVIL ENGINEER Freese and Nichols, Inc. Oklahoma City, OK Wilhelm Weinmeister developed his engineering skills at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Stuttgart, Germany, earning a bachelor’s degree in metal production and management. Beginning his career as a project control coordinator for Volkswagen AG, he also obtained an MEng in industrial engineering from Ulm University. Looking forward, he intends to pursue a PhD in engineering. Since his ability to effectively conceptualize his goals has played a vital role in his growth, he advises aspiring engineers to pursue their creative visions with the utmost determination. Following his graduate degree, Mr. Weinmeister relocated to the U.S. to work as a project manager for a supplier from premium manufacturers in the automotive sector. He achieved a MicroMaster certification in launching breakthrough technologies from Harvard University and a MicroMaster certification in principles of manufacturing from MIT. In 2019, he was promoted to process engineering and innovationmanager, overseeing all projects and manufacturing processes related to the utilization of press-hardened steel to create lightweight automotive parts and collaborating with the research and development department to identify new technologies.
