While in pursuit of his advanced degrees, Mr. Noyce was active with the United States Air Force. Upon departure from the military, Mr. Noyce joined the Shell Oil Company, where he was first involved in corporate planning for three years. Subsequently, he spent the following 22 years as a senior program manager. Now retired, Mr. Noyce reflects upon his longstanding career and notes that a highlight of his career was developing a program that automated palinspastic restorations during his tenure with Shell Oil Company.
