In light of her excellence in her field, Ms. Spilsbury received the Volunteerism Work Award and the Excellence in Grants Award, both from the Nevada Commission on Tourism. Outside of her primary endeavors, she enjoys several avocational activities, including collecting native baskets and historic jewelry, as well as target and field archery.
