His company caters to over 400 grocery stores throughout Texas and Mexico, primarily supplying the H-E-B Company. He was also a private owner of Shell Petroleum LLC and the owner of D&R Services and International Compressors & Engines LLC. To commemorate his work, he was named Salesman of the Year. Prior to beginning his vocational journey, Mr. Ramirez served in the United States Air Force Reserves from 1988 to 1996, where he developed strong leadership skills. After founding his business, he earned an associate degree in business management from Del Mar College in 1998, completed coursework at the University of the Incarnate Word and received a certificate in business management. He has attributed his success to his self-motivated attitude and drive, which was instilled in him by his grandfather, Santos M.
