To attest to his distinction, he has also been featured in American Way Magazine, Bloomberg Businessweek, Hemispheres Magazine, Fortune Magazine, Forbes Magazine, Entrepreneur Magazine and The Wall Street Journal. He was also an interviewee on “The Star Treatment” with Star Jones. Looking toward the future, Mr. Aronson hopes to continue enjoying his well-deserved retirement alongside his loving wife, Roberta, and his son, Michael, all while remaining open to new opportunities. he walked through the snow to tend to his daily duties. For his dedication, Mr. Aronson received a Commendation from Boston City Hospital. Moreover, he is proud of his involvement in helping prevent an attempted armed robbery of narcotics at Boston City Hospital. Additionally, Mr. Aronson received a certificate from the Boston Area Health Education Center for preparing Boston’s youth for careers in health and medicine through the BAHEC Summer Health Careers Programs. To add to his work, he was elected as union shop steward for the pharmacy department at both Boston City Hospital and Boston Medical Center and received a certificate from the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees AFLCIO (AFSCME) for successfully completing the AFSCME Local Union Leadership Training Program. While at Boston Medical Center, he was active as a member of the patient/ family education steering committee. He has further contributed to multiple volunteer roles in pharmacy, including as a mentor to pharmacy technicians, pharmacy students and pharmacy residents. Mr. Aronson attributes his vast professional success to being compassionate, as well as a good listener. He cites his most notable achievement has been helping pharmacy management operate weekend and evening schedules for the pharmacists and ensuring that veterans are properly accommodated. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he is proud that pharmacists are being recognized as an essential part of health care teams. From becoming a count-and-pour pharmacist, he notes that pharmacy today is about providing an active role in caring for patients, such as having the capacity to administer vaccines and emergency medications.
