Furthermore, Mr. Powers earned the Innovative Tech Award and several sustainability designations. Likewise, MedShorts was named one of the Top 10 Supply Chain Companies of the Year. In relation to the COVID-19 pandemic, MedShorts was highlighted by the American Systems of Hospital Pharmacists Association and in a case study through the Los Angeles County Department of Health, through which they leveraged MedShorts’ techniques to access essential medication and therapists for patients. Looking toward the future, Mr. Powers intends to witness the continued expansion of MedShorts and expound upon their sister channel, Methagy. Above all else, he values feedback from his customers who have applauded MedShorts for their efficiency and revolutionary efforts in providing adequate resources for pharmacies across the nation. Moreover, Mr. Powers would like to continue evolving the business from the inside, developing his team to become more knowledgeable about pharmacies, health care workers and manufacturing inventories. He says that the secret to success is to keep one’s ear to the ground with the voice of the customer.
