GILPIN Equipped with a family history in constructing homes, Stephen J. Gilpin became involved in the profession in his formative years. Interested in the real estate market, he commenced his career with Gilpin and Associates in 1985, where he remains today as owner and real estate developer. Alongside his primary vocation, Mr. Gilpin is an accomplished author, having written such works as “Making Room for the Little Guy in Green Investment,” “Quick Turn Real Estate Profits,” “What Will Be the Biggest Surprise in the Real Estate Industry in 2011” and “Real Estate Investors, Investing in New Haven REO’s.” He is recognized as a development consultant and e-learning instructor whose collaboration with partners has revolutionized the industry. Mr. Gilpin is also a member of the management team of R.E. Program EDU. Earlier, he worked as owner and president of Guidance Financial Network, a coach and mentor with The Trump Entrepreneur Initiative, and with the New York Real Estate Institute. He draws upon an associate degree from King’s College and is certified as a mortgage broker business and correspondent lender. Looking forward, he intends to educate communities on preparing small towns for crises, which will allow him to enter the political realm. Matriculating at Radford University, Darin Greear earned a BS in economics and mathematics in 1994, setting the stage for his career in real estate and entrepreneurship. He also earned certification as an accredited buyer’s representative, a residential specialist and an internet professional through the National Association of Realtors. Since 2004, Mr. Greear has excelled as a realtor with Long & Foster Real Estate, where he specializes in residential and commercial sales, working with first-time homebuyers, investors, and those interested in new construction, farmland or acreage. Priding himself on helping three generations of clients buy or sell, he has sold more than 1,500 houses to date. Notably, Mr. Greear was a multiple-time top salesman in Virginia and has been honored by the New River Valley’s Association of Realtors, among others. His first exposure to the real estate industry came from watching and helping his father develop and subdivide their farm. Additionally, Mr. Greear has been the owner of Windy Hills Farm in Riner, Virginia, since 2004 and presently serves on the board of directors of the Montgomery County Farm Bureau, Southern States Cooperative and the Riner Volunteer Rescue Squad.
