Ms. Veastad was also named Artist of the Year by ART International Contemporary Magazine in 2020 and was recognized in “The Stars of Contemporary Art” by ArtTour in 2020. In light of her accomplished career, Ms. Veastad has largely attributed her success to the love and appreciation she receives because of her work, which is a constant source of inspiration and motivation. From a young age, she has been interested in art and creativity. Therefore, she naturally gravitated toward a career in her field. In the coming years, Ms. Veastad hopes to continue flourishing with her artwork, become internationally recognized and establish her own studio. With four decades of experience to her credit, Kari Veastad has cultivated a career of excellence as an independent artist. Based in Sandnes, Norway, she prioritizes abstract expressionism in her intuitive acrylic paintings, with a particular focus on nature, spiritual experiences and the complexities of the human psyche. Ms. Veastad’s core mission is to display art that encourages the creation of new ideas that can shape and mold a better future. Outside of her primary vocation, Ms. Veastad has also accrued a wealth of experience in the fields of finance and accounting, which she continues to leverage in her artistic endeavors. Though she is primarily self-educated, she completed coursework in these fields, in addition to taking courses from various artists. Ms. Veastad made her international debut in 2019 and continues to display and sell her pieces on her website.
