Sonnier has excelled as the chief operating officer and general manager of RaceIQ Engineering, Inc., since 2015. Additionally, he is a startup mentor and advisor at the Georgia Institute of Technology’s Atlanta Technology Development Center, a co-founder and director of Solid Smart LLC, and an advisory board member of Radish Systems LLC. An alumnus of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Mr. Sonnier holds a BS in computer science and a BSEE. He went on to attain an MSEE from Stanford University and an MBA from the University of Denver. Prior to his current roles, Mr. Sonnier held a number of executivelevel positions with such companies as EarthLink Business, ArcherMinds Inc., CalAmp Inc., Dataradio, Streamcast Networks Inc., SolidStreaming Inc., Motorola, Philips Consumer Communications Inc., Lucent Technologies and AT&T. Notably, he was honored as a corporate governance fellow of the National Association of Corporate Directors, and he attributes much of his success to a strong support system.
