Upon her mother’s retirement, Ms. Banchs subsequently became the owner of the store in 2017. PRN Uniforms is acclaimed throughout the state of Texas for providing medical uniforms and accessories to individuals in the health care industry. Earlier in her career, Ms. Banchs worked for a myriad of other retail corporations, having served Thompson Appliance in their Parts and Services Department, as well as with their bookkeeping. Likewise, she served Pier 1 Imports for a number of years before being hired by Aetna Insurance, where she worked in its department of Claims Processing and Overpayments. Despite her background in retail, Ms. Banchs thoroughly enjoyed her transition into the health care industry, thereby prompting her interest in taking the helm of PRN Uniforms. As the owner of PRN Uniforms, Ms. Banchs takes great pride in the quality of products they provide, and she emphasizes that customer retention and satisfaction is of the utmost importance – both for the consumers themselves and for the reputation of PRN Uniforms on a statewide scale. She values her team members immensely and treats them as family. To this end, she endeavors to allow her team members to be involved in all aspects of the business, from handling embroidery to organizing and distributing orders for large groups. Ms. Banchs attributes much of her success to the inspiration, influence and support of her mother. She notes that her mother taught her everything she knows about the business, as her mother previously served as a health care professional herself for many years. Likewise, Ms. Banchs is driven by her desire tomake her mother proud and build upon the legacy established decades ago. To this end, Ms. Banchs has also instilled this sense of determination in her brother Matthew and her daughter Sarah, who will also pass down the torch to future generations.
