Simmons served as an intelligence professional within the United States Navy for over 20 years. While serving the military, she was notable for conducting several deployments in relation to conventional and special operations forces, through which she was recognized extensively as a cryptologic analyst, language specialist and expert in counterterrorism. During this time, Ms. Simmons spend significant time on Oahu, Hawaii, through which she familiarized herself with the island’s real estate sector. Following her departure from the United States Navy, she desired to enter the field on a professional level. Since 2016, Ms. Simmons has excelled as a realtor associate with Locations LLC, a real estate company in Hawaii. As a realtor associate, she has been responsible for serving as an intermediary in negotiations between buyers and sellers in the market and has also conducted much research on emerging market trends. She has since leveraged her newfound knowledge to guide prospective clients on the process of buying, selling and preparing contracts. Likewise, since 2021, she has been the president and chief executive officer of Komorebi Hawaii LLC. Ms. Simmons remains abreast of developments in the field through her membership with the Honolulu Board of REALTORS, International Interior Design Association and American Society of Interior Designers. Civically engaged, she also serves as a member of the Locations Foundation, a volunteer with the Battleship Missouri Division of the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps and a bridge member of the Honolulu Council of the Navy League. She draws upon a BFA in environmental and interior design from Chaminade University of Honolulu, and she holds a green designation and military relocation certification. For her achievements, Ms. Simmons received recognition among the Locations’ Excellence Circle between 2019 and 2021, was nominated for the Aloha Aina Award from 2018 to 2021 and was highlighted by Pacific Business News’ Who’s Who in Real Estate between 2017 and 2021.
