91 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine BUSINESS SERVICES, CONSULTING AND HUMAN RESOURCES Drawing upon over 30 years of experience in consultancy, technology and business management, Adekunle Fatai Salau has excelled as the founder and chief executive officer of AFS Consulting Inc. and Automata Associates Ltd. since April 2017. Notably, both of his consulting firms specialize in business and organizational transformation for a number of small and large businesses, including corporate facilities, government organizations and nonprofits. As the founder and chief executive officer, Mr. Salau helps in assisting businesses to improve their business strategies, as well as transition their existing applications to digital platforms and implement technological processes to expedite business management. Earlier in his career, Mr. Salau served the state electricity company in Nigeria as a pupil programmer beginning in 1988. Subsequently, he joined PriceWaterhouse in 1994 and, over a decade later, became a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2005. During his tenure with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Mr. Salau was the partner-in-charge and leader for consulting business in West, Central and East Africa, which spanned across 12 different countries. After departing from the aforementioned corporation, he joined Ernest & Young in 2011 as the partner-in-charge and advisory leader for West Africa until March 2017. Mr. Salau attributes his success to the support and encouragement of his wife and children, as well as his accumulated expertise in largescale technology transformation that he has garnered over the past three decades. He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science, both in computer sciences from the University of Lagos. Additionally, he holds a certification in visual studio training and has maintained active affiliation as a lifetime member of the Association for Computing Machinery. He is further a member of the British Computer Society and Nigeria Computer Society. Looking forward, Mr. Salau intends to expound upon the success of his company in an effort to allocate more resources to reach more firms on an international scale. Likewise, he would like to pass down the torch to aspiring leaders in his industry who will preserve his legacy.
