She also received an MBA in project management from the Florida Institute of Technology in 2011 and a Doctor of Management in organizational leadership from the University of Phoenix. She holds certification as an information systems security professional. Dr. Whitaker was invited to speak at the Greenville Chamber Virtual DEI Summit in 2020 and co-presented at the KWB Annual Research Summit on Best Practices in 2021. She also spoke on conflict resolution at the JCECA Leadership Day in 2020 and on leadership character development at JCECA in 2021. A facilitator of positive change, consultant in leadership and educator, Dr. ShaYanna M. Whitaker commenced her career in 2010, whereupon she served as a change manager for Bank of America until 2013. During this time, she maintained responsibility for ensuring that projects met objectives in a timely and efficient manner. Concurrently, she was a project manager with GlaxoSmithKline in 2012 and an IT project manager with Allscripts. Subsequently, Dr. Whitaker thrived as an IT security program manager with Deutsche Bank from 2013 to 2018, where she was selected as an information security project manager for NetApp in 2018 and an IT project manager with Pharmaceutical Product Development in 2019. Notably, she was a member of the IT support staff for IBM. Currently, Dr. Whitaker thrives as an organizational consultant with the Institute for Dynamic Leaders and, most recently, was appointed as an adjunct professor at California Intercontinental University.
