150 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine Garnering a natural passion for science and education, Clarissa Rodriguez felt a calling to become a teacher. She first earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology and a Bachelor of Arts in teacher education from Stockton University in 1994 and 2008, respectively. Since 2008, she has excelled as a science teacher through the Atlantic City Board of Education in New Jersey. To remain abreast of developments in her field, she has been an active member of the New Jersey Education Association, National Science Teaching Association and Phi Delta Kappa. Notably, Ms. Rodriguez was appointed an honorary member of the national nominating committee for the Junior National Young Leaders Conference for 2021-2022. Attributing her success to the support and encouragement of her family, Ms. Rodriguez is especially proud of maintaining her role as an excellent educator amid the COVID-19 pandemic, which presented several challenges to both teachers and students alike and popularized the use of virtual learning. She is also gratified to have remained optimistic during the course of the pandemic. Looking toward the future, Ms. Rodriguez intends to earn a graduate degree in leadership and supervision. Reed retired in 2019 following his tenure as professor of management and dean of the School of Business at Marian University. As professor, he taught courses in such subjects as management, leadership and human resources. Prior to joining Marian University, Dr. Reed served Bucknell University, Towson State University, Kansas State University and the State University of New York at Geneseo. Likewise, he formerly excelled as a business consultant and served Xerox Corporation in the fields of software development, project management and product development. A past district governor, he serves Rotary International District 6270 in project management roles. Dr. Reed holds a BA in political science from Muskingum College, MLS from the University of Maryland, MA in psychology from Towson State University and PhD in psychology from Kansas State University. Lending his expertise to written works, including as co-author of textbooks and articles, he earned the Underkofler Award for Teaching Excellence from Marian College and Alliant Energy and the Patent Award and Special Merit Award from Xerox Corporation.
